A question is where it starts.

Possible lines of enquiry. The questions that matter most would be defined with your team.

01

What share of tickets go to visitors from abroad?

Compare four definitions: phone plus account country, phone country alone, account country alone, and tracked purchase location. Each view states its denominator and unknown share; purchase-location events are separate from paid tickets.

02

Which buyer-country signals are strongest for each genre?

Explore source-country patterns across categories and genres where there is enough activity to report safely. This could inform a discussion about which audiences to understand better.

03

How far ahead do internationally classified buyers book?

Compare how far ahead people buy. Booking lead time can help frame campaign-timing questions; it does not establish the date on which a person arrived.

Know what you are looking at.

Account and connection-location signals do not verify residence, nationality or tourism. Ticket share is not a count of unique tourists. No customer names, phone numbers or account identifiers are exposed.

How it works

Origin offers four definitions: phone plus account country, phone country, account country, and tracked purchase location. The first three classify paid tickets; the fourth uses website purchase events. Each view shows its denominator and unknowns. These are signals, not verified residence, nationality or tourist arrivals.
